About Melissa

When Mel’s not treating clients, she embraces her family life as a busy mum of two and can often be found out and about with her children on their bikes, looking after their crazy border collie puppy “Daisy” and hoping that their puppy doesn’t take a liking to  - too many of their household items!  Mel looks forward to when her kids are old enough so the whole family can take off somewhere, hiking and exploring together.

Clinical Experience

Melissa is full of energy and loves a challenge! As a physiotherapist she loves the opportunity to help her clients by diagnosing their conditions and being able to provide a hands-on approach to their treatment, empowering and educating them along their journey. Melissa finds the science behind pelvic health fascinating and enjoys learning the intricate details about how our bodies work.

She has focused this energy and honed her skills during her extensive years of clinical experience in the sports and pelvic health physiotherapy fields.

She frequently gets asked “Why didn’t anyone tell me a physio could help with this?” and wants to make an impact on her patients' lives by providing positive outcomes for everyone who is unaware physiotherapy can help.

Mels’ extensive experience treating clients with hip, coccyx and sacroiliac joint pain has also led her to mentor her peers and as an educator for our Pelvic Girdle Pain Courses covering these topics. She would love to provide this type of education to support other groups such as pelvic pain sufferers, men after prostate surgery or post-menopausal women to get them back to living their lives to the fullest.

Mel has 15+ years of experience.
